Shear Stiffness Analysis |
Shear stiffness measurement of corrugated board is an important property that reflects the level of medium integrity maintained through the corrugated board manufacturing and conversion processes.
XQi mappings show in detail the damage accrued by the board during these processes and assesses the affect on board quality (in particular board strength factor (BSF)) that directly relates to Box compression strength.
Using these mappings Die performance and box design can be investigated and fine tuned to optimise performance and consistency. |

Paper Strength Analysis |
PQM-1 mappings allow periodic and general variations in paper property off the paper machine to be analysed and presented graphically. This technique is fast and proven usin XQi's unique prediction algorithms.
Lengths of paper production representing extended times of production off the paper machine can be measured at XQi's laboratory.
